2022 Auto World XTraction Release #35 SC373

Spring has sprung and it’s time to add to the slot car garage for all that early Springtime racing. The latest Xtraction release from Auto World includes a wide range of classics and muscle. Xtraction release #35 (SC 373) has little something for everyone..

#1 1969 Dodge Charger R/T Ice Blue/White and Charger Red/Black

The 1969 Dodge Charger was the middle child in the 2nd generation Charger family. Arguably the most attractive of the model line, the hidden headlights and split grill are unique to this model along with the new addition of the bar styled tail lights makes this is one of the sleekest designs Dodge ever released.

#2 1969 Chevy Camaro SS Dusk Blue/White and Garnet Red/White

The 1969 model Camaro was the last version of the first generation body style, but it had all new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid. The new body had a sleeker, lower, sportier look. There were 34,932 Super Sport versions of the car released that year. The Auto World versions are decked out with both the full body stripes and the hockey stick stripes.

#3 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona Sublime/Black and White/Blue/Red

A result of the “Aero Wars” being waged in NASCAR, the 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona was a wind cheating design with its extended, pointed nose, cover headlights and flush fitting rear window. All these changes were refined from the original Charger design, when, even after the Charger 500 changes were not enough to keep up with the Ford Torino Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler. But The Charger Daytona was the first stocker to break 200 MPH and went on to be one of the most recognized Dodge performance cars.

#4 1955 Chevy Bel Air Bright Blue/Black “Renegade” and White/Green with Flames

In this release Auto World puts up some really slick gasser era type paint jobs. The first is reminiscent of the gasser glory days with the cubic inch stripe showing off the “496” lurking under the hood of the “Renegade” ‘55 Chevy. The second is a wild white and green flamed street rod, ready to rip the asphalt from the strip.

#5 2010 Chevy Camaro Black/White and Victory Red/Black

2010 marked the return of the Camaro with the 5th generation model. New retro styling that conveyed the original first generation lines was released and unique colors for that model year included the Victory Red captured in this release along with the classic black with white body stripes.

#6 1971 AMC Javelin Deep Maroon/White and Powder Pink/Black

AMC made big changes in the Javelin and Javelin AMX for 1971. Gone was the 2-seater option, but the styling was updated to include a roof spoiler, some serious front fender bulges and “duck-tail” deck lid spoiler. “Go Packages” added some slick graphics and are captured on both of these models in this release.
