For those of us that are old enough to remember the joy of Saturday morning cartoons and was around in 1969, we were introduced to “Scooby-Doo Where Are You?”. We first met the Mystery Inc. Gang of Freddy, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy along with the unforgettable Scooby-Doo. Every Saturday we watched the gang solve spooky mysteries and maybe to see how many goodies and Scooby snacks Shaggy and Scooby could eat! In 1972, The Mystery Inc Gang started hanging out with celebrities in their mystery solving efforts. The “New Scooby-Doo Movies” bought us new adventures and we saw the Mystery Machine riding around with everyone from Sonny & Cher to Batman and Robin. The second episode, “The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair” and the fifteenth episode, “The Caped Crusader Caper” brought Batman and Robin, and the Batmobile into the Mystery Inc world. These two episodes were later combined and released on DVD in 2002 as “Scooby-Doo Meets Batman”. The track layout has a cool loop and wiggle tracks and a haunted house pass-through. Check out what comes with the set.

Here’s the main layout. That loop is a blast and the two wiggle tracks throws an additional challenge for drivers. The set comes with color coded controllers and a 16 volt power pack.
The loop has a cool Scooby-Doo and the Gang insert that wraps around the track.
The terminal track has the “Scooby-Doo Meets Batman” logo and the wiggle tracks has Shaggy’s famous yell “Zoinks!”.

You have to time the acceleration to make through the loop. The loop track is very secure and does not move, even when you go flat out, up and around!
Time to zip through the castle and look for clues to solve the next mystery.
Auto World’s Scooby-Doo Meets Batman Race Set has plenty of great track action and the cars are very cool and has that cartoon feel directly from Saturday morning, watching the latest cartoons and having a bowl of your favorite cereal. This set will be at your local hobby stops and favorite web stores in July 2022. I’m ready to tackle that loop…right after I get a another bowl of Lucky Charms.
