Normally I go through a bit automotive history tied to the cars in a given release. In this article I’m going to focus on the new release and the new tooling in this latest Auto World XTraction Release #2, Import Heat. This series has the familiar Mitsubishi Eclipse and Toyota Supra we have seen in previous releases, but in new color combos. The new stars in this series are the Datsun 240Z coupes. Auto World has presented two versions with a factory street model and a slick new racing version complete with covered headlights, air dam and deck spoiler. Both versions will be welcome additions to the import fans. They are nicely detailed and sit well on the XTraction chassis. Let’s get a closer look at these.

This new Import Heat release introduces the new Datsun 240Z racing version and will make an excellent to your racing stable. The rest of this series holds their own and looks sharp. If you are into the street racing scene, like to drift or just like cool automotive machinery, the Auto World Xtraction Release #2, Import Heat is the series for you. Look for these in your local hobby shop or favorite web store in July/August 2023.
