With their recent improvements to the Super III chassis, Auto World has put together another release (SC399) of their higher performance car. This release has six of the original 2008 released stock cars. These include the 2008 Chevy Monte Carlo SS, Ford Taurus and Dodge Charger. These bodies have not been available as individual releases since 2008 and are a welcomed reissue. To add icing on the cake, we get some very nice throwback liveries capturing the layouts of racers from the late sixties through the nineties. I can’t wait to get these on the track. Let’s get a closer look at each car.

This latest Auto World Super III release is a winner. We get body styles have only been released once as separate cars and a couple of times as bonus cars in race sets. And we get some really cool, eye catching throwback paint schemes. These also have the improved gearing and electrical set up that was introduced last year and have made the performance gains for the Super III chassis. Look for these at your local hobby shop or favorite web store in October 2023.
