2007 Auto World Thunderjet Series 2 Release

This is an article that was lost to the new website transfer. Some images may have originally been part of the Auto World website. It has been recreated here for the reader’s reference.

Auto World released it’s second series of ThunderJets with a mixed collection of cars. This series had six cars total, with two sets of paint schemes and a third group of “White Lightning” special releases that were mixed in with the assortments. All six bodies were new releases in this series.

#7 ’40 Willys Custom Panel

The ’40 Willys Custom Panel came in yellow/black and white/red.

#8 ’64 Dodge 330 Pro Stock

The ’64 Dodge 330 came in bright red and Turquoise.

#9 ’53 Studebaker Funny Car

The ’53 Studebaker Starliner Funny Car came in yellow/lime/black and orange/pink/purple.

#10 Chaparral 2F

The Chaparral 2F came in white and yellow. (The yellow version was not available for photography and was recreated digitally).

#11 ’69 AMC AMX

The ’69 AMC AMX was released in white with red stripes and orange with white stripes.

#12 ’68 Ford Torino

The ’68 Ford Torino was released in black with white stripes and dark green with gold stripes.

White Lightning Releases

All White Lightning cars in this release were pearl white with gold accents or striping.
