Auto World continues to expand their slot car product lines and now they have introduced the 4-Gear Chassis. This is a modern version of the venerable Aurora “Specialty” Chassis. Auto World has made changes that include the introduction of the “pot handle” clip on body mounts, eliminating the need for screw on body mounts. They also added a pair of traction magnets to help keep the extended chassis on the track and moving faster. The combination of changes make for a car that is easier to drive and easier to work on.

The first release of Auto World’s new 4-Gear cars is a home run. The introduction of two of Tom Daniels timeless hot rod designs and the classic 1956 Ford Pick Up truck are great starting points to bring a new chassis and expand the offerings that Auto World can bring to the hobby.
