So we are back to the dirt oval, where you run what you brung and what you could afford to throw together. Where local legends started and even taller tales began. Back when a hundred dollar junkyard brawler could compete and maybe be in the winner circle that Friday night. This is the second series that Auto World has released under the Thunder Road theme in the ThunderJet line. This release (SC423) has a whole evening’s line up for the main event ready to hash it out on your HO track! Time to lean over the rail and see what’s in store for tonight’s racing ticket.

And a few more group shots of this release.

So if the earlier Thunder Road release was a Friday night feature race, this release is the Saturday night main event! The cars in this release are definitely more focused on the types of cars that would have been seen on the tracks in your local fairgrounds or bullrings back in the 1960’s and 70’s. A great era of racing to capture on our HO racing scene! And you can find these cars now at your favorite web store or local hobby shop. It’s Saturday night, let’s go racing!!!
