Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer! He’s a demon on wheels! That started the cartoon show and a series of racing adventures most us followed when we were kids (okay, I never really grew up) and let’s admit it, we all wanted to be Speed or Racer X, driving those really cool cars with all the gizmos. I know none of the buttons on my parent’s cars, ever made their car jump or deploy saw blades. I know, I pushed all of them to check and be sure. But now we can be Speed or Racer X and drive their cars with the new Auto World Speed Racer Mach 5 Mania Race Set (SRS361). The set comes with the new Auto World AMP ThunderJet Chassis under each car and they add speed and handling making the driving all the more exciting. The white track layout looks like some of the tracks from the Speed Racer movie, with twists, turns and a loop! Let’s take a look in the box!
This is a good starter set with the basic goodies. Nine inch curves, 15, 9 and 3 inch straights, plus the terminal track, controllers and power pack. And let’s not forget that loop!
There is enough track for three different layouts. We put together the design from the track layout map pictured above.
